What information do we collect about you and why?
ERS has access to the personal data collected during the recruitment process. The personal data is retained and used by ERS to process your job application and to contact you if necessary. As used in this notice, personal data means information that identifies job applicants and potential candidates for employment, either submitted as part of an online application and/or through alternative channels (e.g. via professional recruiting firms).

This recruitment privacy notice only applies to personal data of job applicants and potential candidates for employment. It does not apply to our employees, contractors or clients or other personal data that we collect for other purposes.

Retention and disclosure of your personal data
Your personal data is shared with our parent company, Information Services Corporation (ISC), located in Canada. Access to your personal data is restricted to individuals at ISC who require access during the recruitment process to assist ERS with processing your job application. Personal data is protected at ISC according to the same personal data protection standards ERS is required to meet.

Your personal data will only be used for purposes that are consistent with the reason for which it was collected. We may share your personal data with third party service providers that may assist us in recruiting talent, administering and evaluating pre-employment screening and testing, and improving our recruiting practices.

If you accept an offer of employment by us, any relevant personal data collected during your pre-employment period will become part of your personnel records. If we do not employ you, personal data collected during the recruitment process is retained for one year after the position has been filled.

Access to information and correction
You have the right to request a copy of your personal data. In addition, if your personal data is inaccurate you may request an amendment.
